2000 Dodge Dakota RT Project

Here's our winter project!

2000 Dodge Dakota RT. Lowered before we got it and now we're customizing it.

Took out this built 360- it just wasn't enough HP!

 Working hard!

Gutted the interior for major customizing. It'll have new dash and all interior.

After engine and interior, we're doing some body mods. Promises to be a sweet ride!

78 CJ Jeep completed!

This project has been done for awhile but I'm just now getting around to putting the pictures up. So here you go!

 New Exhaust! Sounds beefy :)

 So clean!

 Went together great.

Purrs like a kitten...or a lion rather :)

Now...onto the next project- A Dodge truck!

New Jeep Project- 1978 Jeep CJ5

Here we go folks, we're up to more good! This week we're starting on John Koehler's Jeep CJ5 mod project.

We took off the front of the jeep to make unhooking the old engine easier.

We're taking the old 258 In-Line 6 out.

It still runs great if anyone is interested in buying it.

We're putting in a Chevy 305 small block with lots of pretty bells and whistles. I'll post more pics as the project progresses. Feel free to stop in and see how it's going!

New bumper all done

Nice rig!

Frame Repair, part 2

Wow! What a job this was. But the frame is replaced and looks great. More importantly, it's safe to drive again.

Inside the rusty frame

New Frame welded in and painted.

Looks better and so much safer!

Jeep owners, if you have any doubts at all about the condition of your frame, bring it by and let us inspect it for you. If you're still in good shape, there are things you can do to keep it in good shape.

Rust repair project

Hey Jeep owners!! When was the last time you checked your frame for rust problems? When was the last time you cleaned the underside of your amazing rig? Jeep TJ's have one inherant problem- No drain holes in the frame so when water and mud get inside the frame, it stays there and causes a lot of problems. Here's what we're seeing- and fixing- a lot lately:

And here's how we fix it:

Out with the old...

Expensive new frame pieces that have to be welded in after the old rusty pieces are cut out. So save yourself some money and some heartache by keeping the frame channels clean on your Jeeps and even go so far as to getting some inner frame coating to spray in there. Feel free to bring your rigs down and let us inspect them for dangerous rust.
